Secure fit – the alpha and the omega of a good sports headphone

Do I need special headphones for sports and my work-out sessions? Why can’t I use my standard type of headphones, which I also use at home and at the office?
Nope, sorry, this is not a good idea. Because in addition to good sound, headphones for a active life style must have three key features: A tight fitting, a tight fitting, and a tight fitting. Because there is nothing worse than in-ears permanently slipping out of your ears, if you’re on the move. Luckily for us, there are more and more models that have been specially designed for use in sports for several years.

Sports headphones are available in all common designs

Often sports in-ears are stabilized with small so-called ear hooks, and on-ear models do need to sit very tight on the head. But if the headphones cause pressure points, the pressure is too high.
Proper sports headphones are made of sturdy materials, so that they tolerate coarser shocks and are protected against splashing water. Since you sweat a lot in sports, good models are made of high-quality plastic or latex. They can be cleaned after your work-out sessions with a damp cloth and do not forget that they need to be skin-friendly!
A remote control for adjusting the volume and skipping between the tracks are a standard, nothing is more annoying than fiddling with your smartphone during your sports activities.
