Apple – from an underdog to the world’s most successful company

The American technology company Apple, based in Cupertino, California, designs, develops and sells consumer electronics, software and online services.

Apple History

The company was founded in 1976 by Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak and Ronald Wayne. Initially, Apple sold only personal computers, and its first product, the Apple I, was introduced in 1976. In 1977, the Apple II followed, thanks to its success revolutionized the PC industry.

In the 1980s, Apple continued to innovate with the introduction of the Macintosh, a PC with a graphical user interface. After financial difficulties in the 1990s, Steve Jobs returned to the company as CEO in 1997, and under his leadership Apple introduced a number of new products, including the iMac, iPod, iPhone and iPad, which made the company one of the most valuable companies in the world.

Crucial to Apple’s great success was the introduction of the iPod in 2001, a portable music player that is easy to use and quickly became a cultural phenomenon. In 2007, Apple introduced the iPhone, which fundamentally changed the mobile industry, and with the introduction of the iPad in 2010, the tech giant continued to innovate and create a new category of mobile devices.

Today, Apple is one of the largest and most profitable companies in the world. The company is constantly developing new products, such as the Apple Watch and AirPods, and has a loyal customer base that appreciates the company’s focus on design, quality, and innovation.

How good are Apple headphones?

Apple is known for making high-quality products, and its headphones are no exception. The company offers a range of headphones, including True Wireless in-ears, an over-ear and – under the brand name “beats” – on-ear headphones.

Those who prefer bigger should take a closer look at the Apple AirPods Max (review). These over-ear headphones with adaptive noise cancelling are also among the best over-ears in this price range.

Another popular product in Apple’s headphone range is the Beats Fit Pro (review). These are True Wireless in-ears for athletes that also offer very good noise cancellation as well as a stable, comfortable fit.
