The fourth generation of the gaming headset A50 from Logitech subsidiary Astro aims to impress with meaningful innovations. However, the manufacturer still offers two different versions – for Playstation or Xbox. The only difference between the two models is the colour of the printed labels and the software. Xbox users also benefit from a Dolby Atmos licence that is valid for two years. Both are compatible with Windows and macOS computers. Fans who own both Sony and Microsoft game consoles do not have to buy both versions – it suffices to purchase the base station to achieve full platform compatibility.
Jabra Evolve2 30
With the Evolve2 30, Danish manufacturer Jabra has added handy on-ears with noise-reducing microphone technology to its range. They can be used flexibly even in changing workspaces thanks to the plug-and-play function and USB connection, and they are also are intended to offer a high level of wearing comfort all day long. The Jabra Direct software also enables this headset to be personalised by adjusting sound and telephony settings.
Logitech G733
With the G733, Logitech add a wireless gaming headset to its range that claims to have been specially designed with wearing comfort in mind. It also offers surround sound, voice filters from subsidiary Blue Microphones and RGB lighting that can be configured via software.
Bang & Olufsen Beoplay Portal
After Bang & Olufsen announced a partnership with Microsoft in mid-2020 and specifically mentioned the US software giant's Xbox gaming console, it was only a matter of time before we got the chance to wear a pair of gaming headphones from the Danish hi-fi specialist on our ears. With the Xbox Series X/S, Microsoft has already entered the 4th generation of consoles.
