The Skullcandy Method 360 ANC are secure-fitting, sports-friendly true wireless earbuds with hybrid ANC tuned in collaboration with Bose. They deliver a bass-rich, energetic sound, long battery life (up to 42 hours with case), and clear call quality. Adjustable ANC and ambient modes add flexibility, though the lack of high-resolution codecs and faint hiss in transparency mode hold them back slightly. A strong value choice for active listeners who want comfort, durability, and punchy sound without breaking the bank.
- Secure, comfortable fit

The Skullcandy Method 360 ANC deliver excellent value for money, combining effective hybrid active noise cancellation, fast-charging batteries, and clear call quality. While the absence of high-resolution codecs and a faint hiss in transparency mode count against them, these weather-resistant true wireless in-ears remain an appealing choice for cost-conscious buyers.
Design & Comfort
Developed in collaboration with Bose, the Skullcandy Method 360 ANC feature specially designed silicone sleeves and winged tips for a secure, comfortable fit, even during high-movement activities. Three sizes of both eartips and wings are included, and the IPX4 rating ensures resistance to sweat and light rain.
The 77g charging case includes an O-ring and carabiner for easy attachment to a bag or belt. However, the sliding lid cannot be locked, which may lead to accidental opening.
Battery Life
Playback of the Skullcandy Method 360 ANC extends to around 12 hours per charge in standard mode, or nine hours with ANC at maximum. The case offers an additional two and a half charges, bringing totals to 42 hours without ANC and approximately 31 hours with it engaged.
The Skullcandy Method 360 ANC fully recharge in around 50 minutes, while a 10-minute quick charge delivers up to 3.5 hours of playback without ANC. The case itself recharges in about an hour via the supplied short USB-C to USB-A cable.
Connectivity
Bluetooth 5.3, LE Audio, multipoint pairing, Google Fast Pair, and a low-latency gaming mode are all supported by the Skullcandy Method 360 ANC. Codec options are limited to SBC and AAC, with no high-resolution formats available.
Wireless performance is adequate: indoors, two rooms on the same floor are manageable, though moving between floors can cause brief dropouts. Outdoors, the range extends to roughly 17 metres.
Controls
Touch-sensitive surfaces allow track control, playback management, and switching between standard, ANC, and ambient modes. Through the companion app, controls can be reassigned to enable volume adjustment or voice assistant access.
Additional features include camera shutter control for smartphones and single-earbud use. Wear detection is built in but cannot be switched off. Gaming mode cannot be assigned to touch controls.
Skull-iQ App
Available for Android and iOS, the Skull-iQ app provides three EQ presets—Music, Bass Boost, and Podcast—alongside a five-band equaliser for custom tuning. Multiple custom presets cannot be stored, which would be a useful upgrade.
ANC and ambient levels are adjustable in fine increments. The app also supports firmware updates, a timer function, and toggling of multipoint pairing and gaming mode.
Call Quality
Four noise-cancelling microphones deliver clear speech in most conditions. Wind noise is effectively suppressed up to moderate gusts, though strong winds can introduce processing artefacts for the listener. Background noise is reduced well enough to keep conversations intelligible in busy environments.
A sidetone function lets you hear your own voice during calls, but its level is fixed and cannot be disabled.
ANC & Ambient Performance
Hybrid ANC operates with minimal self-noise and effectively reduces low-frequency rumble and general street noise, even at mid-level settings. Voice suppression is less pronounced but still noticeable. ANC slightly boosts bass response.
Ambient mode enhances situational awareness but introduces a low-level hiss, particularly at higher settings during quieter audio passages. Nevertheless, it remains useful for safety during outdoor activities.
Sound Quality
The Skullcandy Method 360 ANC have a lively, bass-forward tuning. Sub-bass is deep and powerful, if slightly soft, which can sound bloated on certain tracks. A small EQ cut in the low end tightens the presentation.
Mids are slightly recessed but clear, with a pleasingly wide soundstage that lends good separation between instruments. Depth is less pronounced, especially with live recordings, but overall spaciousness is impressive for this price range.
Treble is smooth yet sufficiently detailed, avoiding harshness even at higher volumes.
Verdict
Well-built, comfortable, and packed with practical features, the Skullcandy Method 360 ANC offer a strong balance of performance and price. While lacking in high-resolution codec support and with some hiss in ambient mode, they excel in battery life, call clarity, and user-adjustable noise control—making them a compelling choice for active listeners seeking value without major compromises.
